A few months ago, when I came across QuickBooks Error 6150, I immediately contacted a tech expert. They explained that the trigger for this error was a CryptoWall virus. You can perform these steps to erase it -
Press the Start button.
In the search bar, type File Explorer and then, select the File Explore tab.
Look for the QuickBooks folder. In most situations it is located in the C: Drive.
Search for the files with the words “decrypt” or “instructions”(.txt or .html) in them.
If you are unable to find these words in your file, everything is good to go.
If you do find the above in your files, you must contact your anti-virus service provider to remove the virus.
